Celebrate National Coffee Day with Community Coffee's Pumpkin Praline and/or Southern Bread Pudding Fall Flavors - Our Review!

Community Coffee Company is a quality brand that you will love. If you aren't familiar with their brand, let me tell you a little about them. They are a family owned coffee brand that has been in business since 1919. They are committed to a superior cup of coffee and after 4 generations still adhere to that responsibility. Pumpkin Praline was the perfect blend to drink this morning with my neighbors and family on the front porch. The air is getting a bit cooler and crisp with each day that passes. We have hung the fall decorations and are ready for the season. I am a pumpkin fan...and while the craze is in full force with everything pumpkin spice this coffee is unique. It is a medium roast with hints of pumpkin spice to it...think nutmeg, ginger and all spice but with a hint of light sweetness and an aroma of pecan. It isn't overwhelming, you gotta try this!

Southern Bread Pudding made a great cup of joe for our afternoon coffee time. Growing up in New Orleans where a huge part of the population are heavy coffee drinkers, this past time was just part of the culture. Front porch sitting drinking a cafe au lait...even as a kid. Although back then it was mostly milk with a splash of coffee. It is a social time I enjoy. Personally, I like the more fancy pants sweet drinks and this coffee was a great afternoon cup. You could tasted the hints of brown sugar, caramel and even raisins. It wasn't overly sweet though, I did add sugar still and it paired great with some warm milk. Perfect for a cafe au lait!

If you aren't familiar with the term cafe au lait, it just means coffee with milk in french. It is coffee paired with hot milk though, not cold...that would be known as white coffee. Give it a try on your next cup and look for Community Coffee at your grocer or order it online here.

Master Lock 5900D SafeSpace Review - Guard Your Key Items On The Go

Master Lock is here to help our belongings stay safe. You may have had a masterlock on your school locker or bicycle chain...but what about your luggage or a portable safe? They have you covered.

This summer while staycationing my Master Lock 5900D SafeSpace kept my belongings safe. 

The SafeSpace is a small portable safe to store valuables like jewelry, cell phones, credit cards, ID/Passports, keys and even cash. Really anything of value that you want to lock up that fits.

This safe is very easy to use. Upon opening the box for the first time, you will be able to set a combination that suits you...ya know, something you can remember. It will be set to 0-0-0-0 with instructions that are easy to follow to change it. There is nothing I hate more than having to remember random codes, bc this busy mom tends to forget.
So, being able to customize the combination was great. 

When your combination is displayed there are 2 arrow buttons that you will be able to click. 

One is to open the safe and the other is to unlock the cord. They work independently of each other which is really helpful. The basic arrow pointed upwards opens and closes the SafeSpace, it locks your valuables in. The other arrow pointing sideways allows you to wrap the cord of the SafeSpace around an object therefore affixing it to it. Or you could just connect it openly and use it as a carrying handle. It weighs just over 1.5 lbs without your belongings, so easy to carry.

This came in handy at the water parks over the summer. 

I was able to bypass spending the money on lockers because I had my own personal safe. 

I placed my cards, ID, cash, keys and our cell phones into the SafeSpace, wrapped the cord around my beach bag and chair and tucked it away inside the beach bag. It is also water resistent, so that is a huge plus for places like waterparks, public pools or beaches. It also has a shock absorbant foam lining it to help your valuables stay in tact while you are transporting it.

This was a cheaper investment too since we went frequently to the water parks this summer.

It is great for playgrounds too...I found myself using this there with my diaper bag attached to a park bench. I was able to roam the park with the kids while my stuff was secure.

Disney Infinity 3.0 Released Today (8/30) - Comprehensive Guide to Purchasing, Exclusive Release Dates, Sales and Deals

Today, 8/30/15, is the release of Disney Infinity 3.0.

I have 3 very enthusiastic boys that couldn't wait to get their hands on this game.

Here's a breakdown of the sales that I have found along with lots of information.

Disney Infinity 3.0 Downloadable Game Just $19.99!!!

First, if you already own Disney Infinity 1.0 or 2.0, note that you DO NOT need a new base for this game. That means you do not need to purchase the Starter Pack (pictured above).
You can download the game from the shop in your platform for $19.99.
For example, if you have Wii U, just visit the Nintendo eShop on your console and you will see it available for download for just $19.99. Internet connection to your system is required. Also, you will need space on your console to save the game. So, check your data management first.

If you do decide that downloading the game is the way to go, you will be missing the play set that comes in the starter pack, Star Wars™ Twilight of the Republic along with the characters: Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker. You can pick this up as a stand alone set anytime for about $35.
So, you will come out to about $55 for the download and playset. However, if you have a player that has no interest in Star Wars™ and you will not need that playset, then this is the way to go!

For just $10 more, you can get the starter pack for $64.99 that also contains the base...

I chose to just purchase the starter pack and save the base, so now I have an extra, just in case.

As Disney will release the Rise of the Empire Play Set on September 29th everywhere. As well as the characters: Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Boba Fett. Play sets are not console specific. 

Of course, if you were a "die hard" and couldn't wait until the end of September you could purchase this set and use it for any console, but not the included game, you would need to purchase the game stand-alone as a download for your platform.
