Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Great Roller Skate Adventure is now out on DVD. You too can join Dora and Boots as they zoom into Skate Park and stand up to the bullying Big Wheeler! Dora wants to take boots to the Skate Park, but a Big Wheeler (bully) closes the Skate Park for everyone. Dora demonstrates in her special way how to stand up to a bully so that everyone can skate together. The moral of this story is great and right on point with all the anti-bullying campaigns we have recently seen demonstrated on Nickelodeon.
Not only is this a great show, but they've included two extra adventures: Check Up Day where Dora brings her friends to the doctor and School Science Fair where Dora goes to the Green Power Science Fair.
This DVD is approximately 69 minutes, so perfect for the little ones.
My niece just loved it!!! She could relate to Dora and enjoyed all the action. It even promoted her to pick up her skates and go out for some exercise. Diego was included in this film and it wasn't too girly, so my boys actually enjoyed it too. I know that they learned a lot because it helped spark the conversation about bullying.
