GoodNites - Keeping Them Dry Discreetly

GoodNites, you have been a lifesaver!!! After my twins had been successfully potty-trained, training their little brother at just 3 was a cakewalk. He still had nighttime issues, so we had a training diaper for nighttime only. I thought for sure we would be passed this stage at age 5. He was successful some nights with no bed wetting and then others...we were zombies; changing him, giving him a shower, changing sheets...it really was a huge hassle. He also had now grown out of the younger trainers and was becoming wet even with the training pants on. This Fall, AJ started 1st grade and we were concerned about sleepovers...since they would now be something we would encounter. Right before school started he was invited to his very first sleepover and I was apprehensive about his nighttime accidents. Thankfully, we were armed with our GoodNites. Finally, a protective underwear with Spiderman even!!! These actually fit him, no butt cheeks hanging out...LOL. We were on Mission Control for this sleepover. First goal, is to keep him from being embarrassed with his friends by wetting the sleeping bags and floor. This was a success! He discreetly wore his GoodNites underwear over and noone could tell he was wearing it. They looked a lot like underwear and he was happy to have his beloved Spiderman on his. I did warn the parents hosting the sleepover, just in case...but it was not needed. He did great! He did have a wet one, but he simply threw it in the trash in the morning and put his undies on for the day...noone was the wiser. All in all this was a great positive experience for us. We have tried everything and will continue to help him through the bed wetting and we will get through it, I am sure. In the meantime, we can rely on our GoodNites to keep us protected and keep mommy sleeping soundly through the night without any hassles!!! We are on day 42 of dry nights!!! :)
