Colored Noodles - How To

So I saw on the Glad website that you can add food coloring straight to your boiling water pot...so today I decided to give it a try. My kids prefer noodles with butter over spaghetti sauce, so jazzing it up gave me cool mom status. My 6 yr old said I should have a cooking show and teach the World, lol! Not sure I'd go that far...but I did decide to share. I cannot believe I've never tried this before.
I set out to do 4 colors only...and I had some food coloring leftover from Easter.

Step 1: Arrange pots with water and bring to a boil.
Step 2: Add food coloring in following the directions on package or until you like your water color.
Step 3: Drop in pasta. I used thin spaghetti but others would work too of course.
Step 4: Cook as directed on pasta box.
Step 5: Drain each one at a time or not...depending on if you'll mix them all together or where making several different pipes.

Step 6 (optional): Mix together

Now, this was made for the kids' lunch. But you could cool down and use for a sensory playtime for the baby. I have some leftovers, so I'll be doing a little of both!
