If you have never been to Sunflower Farmers Market, I suggest you check it out! The produce there was just as it looks in the pictures I’ve seen on their website. The prices were great too. Of course they also take manufacturer's coupons!
Sunflower Farmers Market has a huge selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as coffee (beans or ground coffee). What about this - they have a full aisle of self-serve pay by the pound healthy snacks! You can pick up dried fruits, nuts, trail mixes, etc. Sunflower Farmers Market’s deli is very well stocked with a variety of cheeses and meats. They also have a choice of four hot ready-to-eat soups.
As I was walking through the deli section, my eyes were also focusing on the baked goods nearby. This made me hungry, so I bought one their telera rolls topped with cheese. I ate part of it when I got home and my daughter finished it off. I am not familiar with gluten-free products, but I did see an island filled with gluten-free items and another island of international foods. So, if you’re looking for soy products or different types of flour, you won’t be disappointed here.
The meat counter was neatly stocked with a nice selection of beef, pork, chicken, and fish. They were running a sale last week with buy 1 get 1 free and for organic meat - the prices were the lowest I've seen. I took notice of some prepared skewers, ready to bring them home and put on the grill.
Sunflower Farmers Market carries more than just food items. They also have fresh flowers, cards, books, and shelves full of vitamins and other health-food supplements.
