Beauty & the Beast pre-order and save $10 promo - is not working this way. Beauty & the Beast pre-order will give you $10.00 off when you pick it up and another movie. However, Toy Story 3 pre-order is working fine. Here are some scenarios below!

Get Fairies watch FREE, -$9.99
Pre-Order Toy Story 3 (get the preorder card with the codes on it - found by Dinsey DVD display), $5.00
Get $10.00 OFF for pre-ordering TS3, -$10.00
Use $10.00 OFF printable coupon for Tinker Bell *above
OOP, $14.99 ($9.99 Tinker Bell, $5.00 deposit to TS3)
**You can also try and add something for $0.01 or more and see if you can use the $5.00 off $25.00 coupon - they might have to push it through but you are over $25.00.
Scenario #2:
Wait 2 days then print Tinker Bell coupon (should expire later)
Go to TRU and pre-order Beauty & the Beast, $5.00
*Must do by 10/4.
2nd trip: Pick up Beauty & the Beast when it comes in from pre-order, $29.99 (balance due $24.99)

*** I am sure there will be some special merchandise for FREE when buying B&B - but the ad isn't out yet.
You are taking a small risk if the Tinker Bell coupon disappears in a few days. I would hedge my bet and print one now and check on Thursday, that will give you some time to see if the new printable expiration changed - it needs to be 10/5 or later. If not, you can always do scenario #1.
I will update as we get more information.
oh - the coupon will print 2 per computer, that is why I mentioned printing one now and another later.
ReplyDeleteThis soooo did not work for me. I went today (before reading this updated version) and did the original pre-order Beauty & the Beast when you pick up Tinker. So with the deposit on Tinker, the pre-order on B & B, and a $0.58 clearanced cookies, I paid a total of $20.36 for this, then got back the $10 rewards card. Not what I was expecting. I did not want to pay that much for the movie. Maybe there'll be a nice rebate come along!
