There is some conflicting wording on the cards and I have spoken with 2 reps and got 2 different answers.
All you need to do is visit Toys R Us by 9/20 and pre-order Tinker Bell - Great Fairy Rescue ($10 deposit required). MUST be Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Packs*. Make sure you grab the pre-order cards they have all the bar codes and specials listed on them - they are typically found in the Disney DVD rack.

Then pick up your movie between 9/21-9/26. Here is the scenario:
Pick up pre-ordered Tinker Bell Great Fairy Rescue Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Pack, price, $29.99 (includes $10 deposit), $19.99 balance
Pre-Order 1 Beauty & the Beast Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Pack, $5.00 deposit
Pick up something small over $0.01 to create a positive balance and in order to use the $5.00 coupon (as you would be short $0.01 - due to the fact you paid $10 oop previously).
Use 1 printable coupon save $5.00 off a $25.00 or more purchase (exp. 9/26)
**Receive $10.00 off any Disney Blu-Ray of $19.99 when you pre-order Beauty & the Beast (exp. 10/4) = -$10.00 ** Not sure now if they will let you use it wy pre-order.
Use Printable coupon save $10.00 on Tinker Bell Blu-Ray = -$10.00
OOP, both FREE plus cost of add-on item selected to cover
You will then receive a $10.00 Toys R Us Gift Card (for pre-ordering Tinker Bell) - which is basically like getting your initial $10 depoosit back from Tinker Bell.
Final price, FREE Tinker Bell Great Fairy Rescue and FREE $5.00 deposit on Beauty & the Beast Blu-Ray Combo Pack
*Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Packs are combinations of the movies. So don't fret if you don't have Blu-Ray. This is a great way to utilize these fabulous $10.00 off coupons that are only valid for these combo packs and yet you still get a DVD!

ReplyDeleteI clarified it even further above in order to help new couponers - I HOPE it helps. You are paying the $10 in the deposit - so make sure you grab something over $0.01 so that the balance is positive and you can use the $5.00 coupon (the balance of Tinker and deposit of Beauty will only equal $24.99)

ReplyDeleteAWESOME - so add that to the Beauty & the Beast which should have a coupon and that will be super cheap - I am guessing $5.00 total.
ReplyDeleteBut on the bottom of the B&B preorder card at TRU it tells the cashier how to ring up the transaction for the $10 off movie when you preorder B&B and it says WHEN YOU PICK UP B&B IS WHEN YOU GET THE $10 OFF YOUR MOVIE-NOT WHEN YOU PREORDER IT.
ReplyDeleteIt also says: Offer Ends 10/4 - right under Save $10. Which would only cover the pre-order not when picking up the movie. I have spoken with 2 TRU agents and received 2 different answers. I guess we shall wait and see.
ReplyDeleteHi. I was able to print my 10.00 coupon for B&B now. I had to put in the UPC for my old VHS & was able to print 2 coupons.

They wouldn't let me use the $5 coupon because he said that my total was less than $25 after the other coupons. I didn't understand him at first, then I went out in the car and looked at the receipt. I didn't feel like arguing over $5 with them but I should've gone back in - I don't even think mine rang up right to begin with - Their receipts are confusing, to say the least. I don't think I got a full $10 credit for pre=ordering B&B - I think I only got a $6.99 credit for that... Does anyone know what the price of Tinkerbell actually is this week???
