If I honestly, would have known more about this service I would have been able to go back to work. I didn't go back to work because 1) day care expenses for my three kids would barely be met with my income 2) Sick kids and so forth having to take off work 3) Facilities were not open early enough for me to get work (rush hour traffic) and vice vs in getting home or working late 4) The waiting list at the day care facilities were so long that by time they got a spot, we'll the job offer wasn't on the table
This is a phenomenal idea for moms (I know several of my readers work full time and are not stay at home moms) so I wanted to put this out there. This is an opportunity similar to foreign exchange programs where a highly screened individuals come into your home and lives with you. They take care of your childcare needs up to around 45 hours 7 days a week. The cost is only around $330 a week! It does depend on your area if it would be a good deal or not. I know in the Vegas area it was going to cost me about $200 a week per child to go to Daycare that was open 7:30a thru 5:30p in addition to over a $100 dollar yearly fee AND huge waiting list. So, if you have more than one child this would have rocked giving my family ALOT of flexibility, not to mention another helping hand around the home and kids an opportunity to be with someone else and not in daycares with all the sick kids running around.
